Ingredients
Scale
Chicken
- 2 lbs chicken tenders (thighs or breast)
Marinade
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 stick butter (about 8 tbsp)
- 8–10 cloves garlic (minced)
- ½ cup parmesan (grated)
- 1 tbsp hot sauce
- Fresh parsley (minced, about 2 tbsp)
- Red pepper flakes (to taste, about ¼ tsp)
- Dry ranch seasoning (about 1 tbsp)
- Dill (dried, about 1 tsp)
- Onion powder (about 1 tsp)
- Paprika (about 1 tsp)
- Garlic powder (about 1 tsp)
- Salt (to taste, about 1 tsp)
- Pepper (to taste, about ½ tsp)
Instructions
- Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, melt the butter and combine it with minced garlic, grated parmesan, hot sauce, red pepper flakes, fresh parsley, dry ranch seasoning, dill, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create a flavorful marinade.
- Marinate the Chicken: Add the chicken tenders to half of the prepared marinade and toss well to coat all pieces evenly. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes to absorb all the flavors.
- Preheat the Air Fryer and Prepare Skewers: While the chicken marinates, preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Meanwhile, thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers evenly without overcrowding.
- Cook the Skewers: Place the chicken skewers in the air fryer basket and cook for about 15 minutes. Halfway through cooking, brush the skewers with the remaining marinade to enhance flavor and moisture.
- Serve: Once cooked through and golden, carefully remove the skewers and serve immediately. These skewers make a great appetizer or main dish.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs for juicier meat or chicken breast for leaner options.
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before threading to prevent burning.
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce and red pepper flakes to control the spice level.
- Serve with a side of ranch dressing or a fresh salad for added flavor.
- Leftover skewers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days and reheated in the air fryer.
