Instructions
- Brew Your Espresso: Prepare 1-2 shots of very strong and fresh espresso using an espresso machine, stovetop maker, or French press by doubling the coffee grounds to intensify the flavor.
- Mix Pistachio Syrup: Combine the pistachio paste or syrup with the warm espresso in a cup, stirring vigorously until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Heat and Froth Milk: Warm your milk to approximately 150°F and froth it vigorously to create a creamy foam, using a milk frother or steam wand.
- Assemble the Latte: Pour the pistachio-espresso mixture into your favorite mug, then gently add the steamed milk, holding back the foam initially.
- Finish with Foam and Toppings: Top the latte with the reserved milk foam, followed by an optional dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of crushed pistachios for aroma and texture.
