A refreshing and vibrant Triple Berry Lemonade that combines the zesty flavors of fresh lemon juice with a medley of tart berries for a perfect summer beverage.

For the Lemonade:
- 4 cups of water (divided)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon peel
For the Berry Blend:
- 1 ½ cups frozen (thawed, triple berry blend)
- 2 cups fresh berries
Instructions
- Prepare the Berries: If using frozen berries, thaw them in a strainer over a bowl to capture the juice.
- Make the Lemonade Base: Boil 2 cups of water with sugar, then add lemon juice and peel. Cool the mixture.
- Blend the Berry Mixture: Combine 1 cup of the lemon mixture with the berries. Blend until smooth, strain, and discard seeds.
- Combine and Chill: Mix the berry puree with the remaining lemon mixture and water. Chill and serve over ice.
Notes
- You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar according to your preference.
- For a slushy consistency, freeze the lemonade in ice cube trays and blend before serving.
