  • Author: Zoe
  • Total Time: 38 minutes
  • Yield: 16 bars 1x

Description

Delicious and easy-to-make S’more Bars featuring a graham cracker crust topped with melted chocolate and toasted mini marshmallows, baked to golden perfection. Perfect for a sweet treat reminiscent of classic campfire s’mores without the need for an open flame.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Melted butter

Topping

  • 4 cups Chocolate chips
  • 1 package Mini marshmallows (about 1012 oz)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the correct temperature for baking the crust.
  2. Prepare Pan: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish thoroughly with cooking spray to prevent sticking and make removal easier.
  3. Make Crust: In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter until the mixture is well combined and resembles wet sand.
  4. Form Crust: Press the graham cracker and butter mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the prepared baking pan, creating a sturdy crust.
  5. Bake Crust: Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8 minutes to set it and bring out the buttery flavor.
  6. Add Toppings: Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the hot crust, followed by an even layer of mini marshmallows on top.
  7. Bake to Toast Marshmallows: Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and toasted.
  8. Cool: Remove from oven and allow the bars to cool completely. Then place the pan in the refrigerator to chill and set for best slicing.
  9. Serve: Once chilled, cut into bars and serve. Enjoy a gooey, chocolaty s’mores-inspired dessert!

Notes

  • For extra crunch, you can sprinkle chopped nuts on top with the chocolate chips before adding marshmallows.
  • If you prefer, use dark or milk chocolate chips based on your taste.
  • Make sure to press the crust firmly to avoid crumbling when cutting the bars.
  • Refrigerate the bars to help them set properly for cleaner slices.
  • Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
