  • 1 large egg

Filling:

  • 1 cup cinnamon sugar (mix 3/4 cup sugar with 1 tablespoon cinnamon)
  • 1/2 cup raisins or nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Warm milk and butter, then add to dry ingredients with the egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead the Dough: Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. First Rise: Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll and Fill: Roll out into a rectangle, spread cinnamon sugar mixture, and sprinkle with raisins/nuts.
  5. Shape the Rolls: Roll tightly from one edge, cut into 12 pieces, and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Second Rise: Cover and let rise for another 15-20 minutes.
