			Base Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz / 300 ml) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix-ins
- 1 1/2 cups dried shredded coconut
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (plus extra for rolling)
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, blend melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract together until the mixture is smooth and homogenous.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Stir in the graham cracker crumbs, shredded coconut, and chocolate chips until all ingredients are evenly combined throughout the mixture.
- Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow the mixture to firm up and become easier to roll.
- Form Balls: Remove chilled mixture and scoop out portions to roll into 1¼-inch balls. Keep the size small for the perfect rich bite.
- Coat the Balls: Roll each ball generously in additional graham cracker crumbs to create a light, crunchy coating all around.
- Final Chill: Arrange the coated balls on a baking sheet and refrigerate again for 30 to 60 minutes until firm and set.
- Serve and Store: Serve the Moose Farts cold. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
- Roll the balls in colored sprinkles or crushed candy canes for festive variations.
- Try dipping them halfway in melted dark or white chocolate for an elegant touch.
- Add finely chopped pecans or walnuts for a nutty crunch if no allergies concern you.
- Replace chocolate chips with butterscotch or peanut butter chips for different flavor profiles.
- Use unsweetened coconut and dark chocolate for a healthier version.
- Press the mixture into a pan to make Moose Fart Bars instead of balls.
- Store in the fridge for a week or freeze for longer storage up to three months.
