  • 8 oz (226g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup (65g) granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch (20×20 cm) baking pan with parchment paper and set it aside to prepare for the batter.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and well combined. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing thoroughly until fully incorporated.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Sift together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mix into the wet ingredients and stir until just combined to avoid overmixing. Fold in 1 cup of the chopped Kit Kat bars gently into the batter.
