Ingredients
Scale
For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For the Caesar Dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Wraps:
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups romaine lettuce (chopped)
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (shaved)
- 1/2 cup croutons (optional)
- 4 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.
- Grill the Shrimp: Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are opaque in the center, indicating they are cooked through. Remove from the grill and drizzle with lemon juice.
- Make the Caesar Dressing: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Warm the Tortillas: Heat a skillet over medium heat and warm each flour tortilla for about 30 seconds on each side to make them pliable.
- Assemble the Wraps: Spread a generous layer of Caesar dressing on each warmed tortilla. Top with grilled shrimp, chopped romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, and if using, crumbled bacon and croutons for extra texture and flavor.
- Roll the Wraps: Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom up to enclose the filling completely.
- Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately while fresh and warm.
Notes
- For a gluten-free option, substitute the flour tortillas with gluten-free wraps or large lettuce leaves.
- To enhance the smoky flavor, use a charcoal grill if available.
- Croutons and bacon are optional but add a nice crunch and savory taste.
- Store any leftover dressing separately in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- If grilling shrimp is not an option, you can also cook them in a skillet on the stovetop over medium-high heat for similar results.
