For the Lasagna:

  • 1 box of lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound of large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles: Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the shrimp: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside.
  3. Make the garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter for the sauce. Add garlic, flour, milk, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  4. Assemble the lasagna: Preheat the oven. Layer noodles, sauce, shrimp, and cheese in a baking dish. Repeat layers and finish with sauce and cheese on top.
  5. Bake: Cover with foil and bake, then remove foil and bake until golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Let the lasagna cool slightly, garnish with parsley, and serve.
