Ingredients
Scale
For the Fruity Pebbles Treats:
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows (approximately 6 cups)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 1/2 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal (9.2 ounces)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8X8” or 9X9” baking pan with overlapping pieces of parchment paper, and cut to size. Lightly grease the parchment paper to hold it in place.
- Melt Marshmallows and Butter: Add the mini marshmallows and butter to a large, microwave-safe bowl. Melt the butter and marshmallows together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each turn in the microwave.
- Add Vanilla and Cereal: Once the marshmallows and butter are melted, add in the vanilla extract and then the Fruity Pebbles cereal. Fold in the cereal until completely coated.
- Transfer and Set: Transfer the coated cereal mixture to the prepared baking dish, smooth it into an even layer, cover, and let set for at least 1 hour at room temperature.
- Serve: Use the parchment paper handles to lift the treats out, slice, and serve. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Notes
- **Notes: You can press the treats more firmly for a denser texture or keep them lighter by not compacting them too much.***
