- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Egg Wash:
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp milk
For Frying:
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- Cheesecake Filling: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Assemble Sandwiches: Spread the cream cheese mixture onto one side of four bread slices. Add sliced strawberries and a spoonful of strawberry jam on top. Cover with the remaining bread slices.
- Egg Wash: In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Dip and Fry: Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, then fry in butter in a skillet until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve: Remove from skillet, drain on paper towels, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
