Description

This Easy 5 Minute Banana Smoothie is a quick and delicious way to start your day or recharge in the afternoon. With just a handful of ingredients and a blender, you can whip up this creamy, fruity smoothie in no time!


Ingredients

Fruit:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 orange, peeled and quartered

Additional:

  • 1/3 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup water or milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons honey, optional

Instructions

  1. Roughly chop the banana and orange quarters, then add to a blender. Combine the fruits in the blender.
  2. Add yogurt and water (or milk). Pour in the Greek yogurt and liquid of choice.
  3. Turn the blender on and blend until creamy and smooth. Blend until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency.
  4. Taste, and then adjust with honey if needed. Sweeten with honey to taste, if desired.

Notes

  • You can customize this smoothie by adding a handful of spinach for extra nutrients.
