Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Mixture
- 3 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Other
- 1 package Kings Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350° F (175° C) to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic powder and set aside for brushing later.
- Mix Chicken Filling: In a separate bowl, combine shredded rotisserie chicken, ranch dressing, half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and buffalo sauce. Stir well to evenly coat the chicken with the mixture.
- Prepare Rolls: Slice the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom halves of the rolls in a 9×13-inch baking dish lightly sprayed with cooking spray, arranging them snugly.
- Assemble Sliders: Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses on top of the chicken mixture.
- Top Rolls and Brush Butter: Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer to form sliders. Using a brush, evenly coat the tops of the rolls with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes to heat through and melt the cheese.
- Finish Baking Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the tops of the sliders turn a golden brown and slightly crispy.
- Serve: Remove from oven, slice between the rolls to separate sliders, and serve warm as a tasty appetizer or snack.
Notes
- Using rotisserie chicken saves time and adds great flavor, but you can use cooked shredded chicken breast instead.
- The Kings Hawaiian rolls add a sweet contrast to the spicy buffalo chicken mixture.
- Make sure to cover the rolls while baking initially to keep them soft and prevent drying out.
- You can adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to make it more or less spicy according to your preference.
- Leftover sliders can be reheated in the oven wrapped in foil to maintain moisture.
