  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

For the Glaze:

  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet or loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Soak Breadcrumbs: In a small bowl, soak breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare Meatloaf Mixture: In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add breadcrumb mixture and gently combine without overmixing.
  5. Shape the Meatloaf: Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on the prepared pan.
  6. Make the Glaze: Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a bowl.
  7. Apply Glaze: Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
