Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it or lining with parchment paper.
- Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, mash the bananas. Add melted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well combined.
- Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt (and cinnamon if using).
- Combine wet and dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined.
- Add mix-ins: Fold in the chocolate chips (and walnuts if desired).
