Instructions
- Preheat and prepare baking sheet: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
- Slice potatoes: Cut the russet potatoes into wedges, then place them in a large bowl. Toss the wedges with olive oil to coat them evenly, which helps achieve a crispy texture during baking.
- Season the wedges: In a small bowl, combine the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle this seasoning mixture over the oiled potato wedges, then add the shredded parmesan cheese. Toss well to evenly coat each wedge with the seasoning and cheese.
- Arrange on baking sheet: Spread the seasoned potato wedges out in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, arranging them with the skin-sides down for optimal crispiness.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake the wedges for 25 to 35 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender when pierced with a fork. Optionally, garnish with fresh parsley before serving for added color and flavor.
